SCCM client install - client.msi doesn't have a valid digital signature

Have you ever tried to install a SCCM client using the SCCM right click tools and got the error message client.msi doesn't have a valid digital signature?

That's because your right click tools is using an older version of the ccmsetup.exe

Solution:

If you are using the console in the SCCM server

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Client

copy the ccmsetup.exe and paste it in C:\Windows\SCCMTools

If you are using the console in a workstation then go to the server, copy the ccmsetup.exe and paste it to C:\Windows\SCCMTools in the local computer.

This fix can help with the following error as well:

Failed to successfully complete Http Request

Make sure you replace the ccmsetup from this folder as well:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Configuration Manager\AdminUI\XmlStorage\Tools
