Lenovo - Task Sequence failing because of WinPE drivers

If you have Lenovo laptops and your Tasks Sequence are failing because your WinPE drivers don't get recognized besides the fact you are injecting the right WinPE drivers to your boot image, first make sure you are using the drivers for the right OS. The WinPE drivers don't necessarily match the drivers of the OS which you are deploying.

If you have this right then download some drivers from Dell, yes I said from Dell!
Some Lenovo drivers just won't do the job. That's specially true with the T510 models.

You can download the drivers from here.

Then just extract it and import it to SCCM.

  2. Hi,

    Where exactly is it failing?

Have you tried to open a command prompt and type ipconfig? Did you get an IP address?
